Tried this on VirtualMachine and also with dedicated computer ...

Installer runs okay (boa in-stable local mail@mail.com) but cannot restart computer and do not receive welcome emails.

When restarting, just get a black screen with a small clock icon as the cursor. Can boot into recovery mode.

Occurs with Debian (7.5) and Ubuntu (12.04, 13.10, 14.04).

We have tested localhost install only with Ubuntu Precise and Debian Squeeze, but only on VirtualBox. We don't use nor test it regularly, so it is currently limited to the aforementioned systems, as listed on the project page. We will try to test this with newer Debian/Ubuntu, but only with VirtualBox. If you are willing to experiment with other systems, debugging, patches and how-to are welcome.
