Hello,

Workbench Email has been out for over 2.5 years with good traction. I think it would be helpful to the community to add a Workbench Email link under the Workbench Suite section on the main project page for Workbench Moderation.

Right now this has to be done using the Rules module.

Creating a rule isn't that difficult -- what is difficult (what I haven't been able yet to figure out) is how to send email to the author of the node being moderated. There doesn't seem to be any clear way to get access to the author's email when configuring the Action.

It might be sufficient for these purposes to make the email of the author available when creating an Action in Rules.
