Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
The growl style messages are generally unhelpful for developers. Any errors should persist and not fade away. I think this is a space you don't want to get into considering how much customization can be needed for such a behavior.
If one wants growl style status, they can easily install Purr Messages module. https://drupal.org/project/purr_messages
I do think it would be useful for us to provide a nice theme override for the Purr Messages, however, that seems like something Ember Support could handle since the Purr Messages persist both on the front and back end.
