There is a commonly used case for menu link to add 'secondary' with 'tabs' class to ul lists.
And it's not handled in current theme, but handled in default themes like bartik.
Example from panelizer module - http://i.imgur.com/6dAEkJg.png (at the right edge of screen)

Problem caused by fact, that for any .tabs selector added absolute position, and some lists are broken.
That's why i propose to add styles to handle .tabs.secondary lists.
