Hi,

I'm having a major issue with IMCE. It simply does not work. I've got it on my live sites working fine, but in my testing environment it is completely broken. As the code is the same between the live and the test sites, I think this is a server related issue. For my testing environment I'm running running Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS totally up to date. For live I'm about 15 packages lagging behind. There is no log in apache other Failed to determine HOME directory after trying "sh: 1: cd: can't cd to ~" (exit code 2). But I get this issue on my live server as well and IMCE works fine there.

I've tried any combination of page loads with and without WYSIWYG. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I've downloaded new code. Experiencing this issue across three different sites in my testing environment. Any suggestions?

I'm not familiar with the imce code base but I will open it up and see if I can get anything to print out in an effort to locate this issue more specifically. I'll update the issue here with findings. In the meantime, has anyone else experienced this issue?

This seems to be a support request. Try playing with PHP paremeters like max_execution_time, memory_limit, etc.
