Hi,

I am experimenting with setting my drupal Commons site to allow registration with admin approval however I cannot find how an admin actually knows that someone has registered and is awaiting approval? I imagine their should be an email notice of some sorts to the admin or people will ahve to wait till the admin next logs in and ensures they look through the list of users to see if anyone is not approved? Seem a little cumbersome that way?

For your need two way to achieve this.

1. Check this module User registration notification.
2. To create rules for this.
