Hello,

I'm looking for a Drupal expert to help me build out a couple of sites. I'm new to Drupal but an experienced developer. I want to cut short my learning curve. So far, I find myself, scrambling around, installing various modules, and hoping that each problem get's solved. I'm hoping there is a more rational approach. I'd like clear direction on what modules to use and I don't want every module under the sun. I don't need to be hands on for everything, I'm happy to outsource pieces. In the end, though, I need to understand how features are implemented and look to be in control of my destiny.

It's not a full-time assignment, nor are there deep pockets. It's perfect for a moonlighter, underemployed, or offshore. I'm enthusiastic about the platform and the potential that an effective CMS can build my business and my client's business(s). I'm located in Northern New Jersey, USA. I've got a brochure type site and an drupal commerce initiative on the docket.

The Drupal is a very active community. It's really great.

I was overwhelmed with the number of responses and talked with a number of talented and gracious developers. I have identified the resource for this current requirement. I will try and respond to everyone.
