Hi,

Hope im asking in the right place!!

When I log into my site as a user (not admin) and click to log back out again this works fine, and I'm returned to the log in area, however, if I log in as a user and click on say, the "home" page or "my account" etc then click log out, the user is not logged out, the page just stays as it is, and it still shows one user online in the sidebar, also, if I then click the back button, it takes me back to the users main page, but if I then click log out again, it shows a page stating "access denied........ You are not authorized to access this page. "

The only way I am getting around this at the moment is by clearing the cache locally on my machine in the browser I'm using to log into the site on, and clearing the cache in drupal too, this then allows me to log back in as the user, but if I follow the same steps it repeats the issues! I have tried using different browsers, IE, Firefox and Chrome all three have the same issue, also tried incognito, the issues still occurs.

Obviously I don't want visitors to my site having the same issue, surely if you click on log out, it should log you out and return you to the main log in page etc???

Thank you

ps,

I have added a module as suggested in the forum which was redirect after logout, and changed the location to the home page which is where they would log in again, but the logout still does not work, why such an issue with Drupal 7, are previous versions the same? I would have thought logout would be simplistic!
