Basically, it looks like some function of bootstrap is adding the 'nav' class to the shortcuts UL inside the navbar toolbar. I'm not sure where the issue should be fixed, so I posted in both queues.
A screenshot is attached. It shows that the shortcuts bar displays on two lines instead of one on bootstrap based themes.
