Hi all, first of all thanks for the module, is very useful.

I found out I got this problem on user registration, and since we just noticed it (it came up recently) we think it could be because of this module (which is the last one we installed).

When anyone tried to register on our site, he gets the "Username field is required" error message even if the field is set.

Unfortunately we couldn't fix this disabling the module.

We also tried to disable LoginToboggan, run cron, flush caches etc. without success.

Thanks for the report and all the efforts in here. But due to inactivity in this issue for years and because of the upcoming EOL of Drupal 7, I will close this issue on th way cleaning up the issue queue.

Feel free to re-open as "Needs review" if you found a solution or have a patch to be reported to help others.
