Metatag 7.x-1.9-Beta9 and the latest dev release both seem to not work with the latest Workbench Moderation v1 release, 1.3 or their latest dev release on the v1 side.

What happens is that I can override a metatag in the node, save it as a draft, save it for review, and everything is fine. The second you go to publish, not only do you lose your data in the backend for that metatag, but it also does not appear on the site.

I reverted back to Workbench Moderation v1.2 and it seems to be running fine now, making me think there's something that broke with the latest update in Metatag in january.

Note that the patch here: https://drupal.org/node/2199533 - does not seem to fix this issue.

I cannot reproduce this using Workbench 1.2, Workbench Moderation 1.3, and Metatag 7.x-1.0-beta9+11-dev (or rc1). Is this still an issue for you? If so, can you provide any more details?

No response from the issue creator in a year & a half, and others have confirmed it works for them.

Please update to the latest releases of both modules, the problem should go away.
