Issue queue cleanup... My apologies for taking so long to address this issue!

Considering there is an infinite number of options for a integer field, there's no way to provide a filter that uses a limited number of options. Take a look at Views' grouped filter options for ways to have a single filter option for something like < 500. BEF can work with grouped filters to adjust the final rendering.
