Allow mapping of Importer name

It would be nice to be able to map the importers name to the nodes it creates. Many of the larger sites with multiple authors publish the authors author's name rather than the name of the site. If I do not know which authors write for that site I have to check the permalink to see where the content came from. Anyone else think this would be nice?
