It might be useful if the customizations made to the Path / Pathauto module UX in the "permalink" field on node edit pages was separated out into its own submodule so that it could be used outside of Panopoly.

I propose that we just create a setting for the permalink at admin/panopoly/settings/panopoly_admin to enable and disable the override.
