Sometimes you may want to see daily data for the past 60 days or annual data for the past 40 years. Whenever you have a large number of data points it causes the labels on the horizontal axis to be pushed too close together. In these cases it would be good to set an interval.

This may also be related to #1237096: Graph node input over time (support date formatting on a continuous axis), though they might be able to be solved separately with different solutions.
