Spamicide completely ignored by spam bots

I read here: https://drupal.org/node/1762484 that in version 7 you added a way to change the description in the hidden field. People reported that change seems to work. Do you have that in my version? In 24 hours I have logged only one Spamicide hit , but have more than 100 spam registrations. I agree with others that bots are simply ignoring your hidden field because they know what it is.
