There were similar discussions like #1861856: how to use admin menu for regular/anonumous user?, but I am not convinced that useful features requests should be declined just because the Admin Menu module initially pursued different goals, especially when implementing such features is quite easy and it make the module only better.

I know this module is for user with administrative rights, but why not make it available for regular users? The authenticated users on my site have already been using it with no issues as the admin menu has very useful "Hello username" and "Log out" links. And it would be awesome if "Log out" link would be automatically replaced to "Log in" link. Currently, if you make the admin menu available for anonymous then it still shows "Log out" link, which doesn't make sense.

And there is no security risk involved here as anonymous users can only see the menu items made available for them. I know I can achive what I want via other methods, but I really do not want to make it complicated and be using two different menus, when we already have excellent Admin Menu, which only needs little bit of modification to start working as the ultimate menu for (1) admins and regular (2) authenticated and (3) anonymous users. The fact it was called "Admin menu" doesn't preclude to turn it into One Ultimate Menu for Drupal.

I am sorry for no reply until now.

There are many issues regarding this module admin_menu which is a bit difficult for us to follow up since some of the issues might be already outdated, or is already fixed by the module or any other modules or itself core which means that the problem might no longer need to be fixed.

We can see that the issue has been created for a few years ago, I hope it is okay for you that I am postponing the issue, and give you around two weeks. If you still face the problem, could you tell us the step by step when until you get the error message or what is frustrated you, and a list of modules you are using related to admin_menu and a screenshot that might help us? So it makes us easier to reproduce your issue.

However, after two weeks with no feedback - we will close this issue. So in case, you noticed it after the issue is closed, do not hesitate to reopen it like and fill information which is mentioned above.

So before giving us a feedback, do you mind to test it again with our latest 7.x-3.x-dev?

Thank you for understanding! :)
