Hallo,
I need to put a calendar in my site where users, previus registration, can add a date but with some restrictions:
1. registration of the user (no problem here!)
2. users can see free hours where to put a date but, for privacy issues, can't see the name and descriptions of other dates
3. if a user add a date, this must be validated by an administrator user to be published in the public calendar
4. every time a user adds a date, administrators must be notified of this action via email (I think this is not a problem with workflow and/or rules modules)

Does Drupal and calendar module do this?

Thank you!

Calendar module does not do all of this. You could look at Drupal Rooms.

You could also consider embedding a ready-made application (such as Google Calendar).

If you have a use for CiviCRM and the patience and hosting resources to set it up and run it, you could look at CiviBooking https://civicrm.org/extensions/civibooking. Not sure if you can out-of-the-box hide the details of bookings made by others.

Thank you for your support.

Meanwhile i see that there's a module, MERCI, that maybe could do that, do you know it?

Ah, thanks for reminding me of that one. Never used it. You could raise a support request in the issue queue.

My experience of these things is that one always has to spend a few days trying out the options for oneself. Still, the more advice you can get at the start, the better.
