Hi I am getting the following message on authentication of Twitter in Drupal.
"Could not obtain a valid token from the Twitter API. Please review the configuration."
Old websites (Late 2013) with the Twitter module originally authenticated to Twitter, however authenticating today(4th march 2014) I get this message.
I have tried all the above suggestions, also I have Openssl enabled in php.ini
I have copied the API key/Secret key, anyone else having trouble reauthenticating now?

Could it be related to this?

This may be related to problem I am having on a D6 install, where the latest version of the Twitter module stopped working ~Feb. 24 though no changes were done on the site on or around that date. Is that possible? Do I need to configure https for the whole site? TIA for any help, I have been pulling my hair out trying to jump start this module again after a couple of hiccups over the past year.

This is a duplicata of https://drupal.org/node/1929378

Please test out the latest -dev release, it includes a number of fixes for the cron integration and it should be working better now.
