Hi i get this error when i try to import fields.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function field_group_read_groups() in /mydrupal/sites/all/modules/field_tools/field_tools.admin.inc on line 629

Do you have field_group module enabled?

No i dont have it enabled

Did you have field_group enabled on the site that was exporting?

Yes i guess on the site i was exporting from the field group was enabled.

That explains it then -- the export code will only contain a 'groups' section if field group module is enabled.

I'll take a patch to check for the module in the import code, though I'm tempted to say this works as designed...
