First i am noob about drupal and i like it!
So i created the new page but how do i add content(news) on it???when i write new article it shows up on front page but i want it on another page...

Ok, if you edit the page you made, under menu settings you can create a menu item link that will take you to the page you created. you can even add a url alias under url path settings. If you do not want your page to show up on the front page, then under publishing options uncheck "promoted to front page". Hope that helps get you started!

Views
If I understand you correctly, you want a "News page" that shows all of the latest "News items" that you have posted to the site. If that is the case, then you should use the Views module. Views can create a listing of all the latest News items for you and display them on a page as you wish. Hope that helps.

The views 2 module is supposedly unstable--at least that is what the module description says.

yes, the views 2 is def. not ready yet.... half the modules I use aren't available for drupal 6 yet, so a lot of us are going to have to wait for a bit before we can upgrade our sites!! I'm so stoked about drupal 6 though!
