Prior to the creation of a drupal site, a number of group members signed up using a direct link to PayPal subscription.

One we transition to the drupal site, I want to use up recurring with a paid role for paying members. I'm wondering if there is an automated way of transitioning people over to the new system.

Has anyone already managed a transition like this ? If so, how did you do it?

I haven't tried to do this.

In theory it may be possible to export the data from paypal and then re-create the database tables.
