FCKeditor 2.3.1 is installed at IMCE demo site whilst FCKeditor Nightly is installed at the demo site of the FCKeditor module for Drupal. It contains the latest (may be unstable) version of FCKeditor.

That's why the dialog boxes look different.

I know exactly what you are asking and I probably just spent all day trying to find any shred of information to get it to do this.

What he is referring to is, in the demo when you click any button that should popup as a new window, it actually does some kind of crazy javascript to draw the new window, with a shadow and it whites out the rest of the page. So if you had a popup blocker it still might work no problem. If you are familiar with Lightbox its the same effect but I dont really know how to whittle this explanation down to a few words that google would like to hear.

yes,i know that the effect is the same as Lightbox
but the demo site tells that:

Changes made on this site to the default FCKeditor module installation:

Styles are applied with tag to pass the Filtered HTML input format, as described in the configuring input formats article. The following buttons have been added: 'FontName', 'FontSize', 'TextColor'.
Spellchecker has been configured to use 'SpellerPages' and the 'SpellCheck' button has been added.

and i'm using the latest version of the fckeditor as the demo site, so i've no idea how can i get the same effect as it
maybe it's about the version of drupal
but i use 5.x and the default theme , just as same as the demo site, too.

Sorry, I had to correct my comment. The latest nightly build (http://www.fckeditor.net/download) is installed at FCKeditor + Drupal demo site.
That's why it contains the floating dialogs instead of normal popups.
FCKeditor 2.5.1 doesn't have that feature yet.
If you like the new dialog boxes, install the latest nightly build and help us in testing the dev version ;-)

Thank u very much. I've downloaded the nilghtly build version and i've got the effect just as the demo site.
It's great!
