Is there existing/planned support via an additional module, perhaps, that enables Advanced Forum to work with the Features module? Is it on the roadmap?

I ended up needing this for a client. The change to AF simply adds an option to not auto-load the built in page variants and views so they can be added with Features instead. I will be documenting how to use it shortly.
