This was mentioned in a related post, but thought it best be separated out as it is a different issue.

Basically, when hitting an event or a date to view the events for that day, I get a complete list of the entire iCal contents, and not just those events that occur on that day. I am going to presume that this is either a botched config in the "Views" module or it's a bug.

Any info to help resolve will be appreciated.

I'm not making changes to the 5.1 version. I'm officially recommending you move to the 5.2 version now. If you have problems in that version you can check for existing issues or add new ones. Feature requests are now getting posted to the D6 version to be back-ported to 5.2.

The ical handling has been changed a lot in 5.2.
