If you use Ajax Blocks + Boost cache:
Check "Load the block on cached pages for these roles only"
and "Load the block on uncached pages for these roles only" together in block settings.

(One "Load the block on cached pages for these roles only" is not work)

This doesn't work for me. It seems to shut off Boost. and i do not get any cache to generate.

I have anonymous user checked for both and, while the page does get cached, the cache is regenerated on every new page visit, which does not seem to be the intended result.
