I apologize in advance for not having the exact error message (drush wiped out after this fatal error occurred) , but I'd like to bring your attention to issue thread #2187433 over at PANELS. As I explain in the thread, drush would abort, the DB would break upon update and it wasn't until I completely uninstalled context and all it's dependencies that I was able to run update cleanly.

There is a related issue opened at #2188277: "cache_panels doesn't exist" error on update. I can proceed with my build w/o context for the moment, but just wanted to bring this to your attention. But now that am filling out the issue ticket, am wondering if the problem has to do with the version number am running. Am also wondering now why, with all the updates that have occurred, have I never been pinged for a context.module update?
