Greetings,

I like the OpenPublish project (and also other Phase2 distributions), but I am still looking for good Events handling. The OpenAtrium has all features - even more than I want and therefore it is too complicated - event content type asked for group, but a section is needed for it and the content type group is for another use (?)...

I think the best solution for most cases would be as I am looking for (OFFERING PAYMENT FOR HELP :) )...:
1) Events which are more days long and even "crossing" with another events (which is possible now, but see below).
2) Repeating events - for example the "Event Calendar" module is not (yet) compatible with the Date modue - resp. Repeating events module.
3) Combination of 1 and 3, which means more days long events and also repeating. Each event set repeated as independent (for another repeating rules).
BONUS :) ) Some function to tell about "crossing" times (when more events overlap - see point 1)...).
BONUS :) ) ICal function at least for import and (more important for me) also FACEBOOK EVENTS import and export (- both if possible). I found some Facebook Events module, but it seems useless :(.
4) Upcoming events block (not just a calendar). Somethink like the Agenda module, but not just aggregated as the Agenda doing (and therefore is not searcheable in the site search as nodes etc.).
5) One node for one event - even if repeated (that is for simplicity and easy update etc. - see below).

BONUS :) ) Ability for "send" finished event to archive or so. That should make the old node free (see below) and make a new node (archive). Ability for new event using the lowest node possible (see above).
Example: node/3 (event inside) if finished will go to for example node 103 (100 nodes are reserved for normal pages, articles, events etc. in my site) and newly added event will be node/3. And aliases changes accordng that, therefore "event-from-node-3" now leads to node/103 and "the-new-event" is at node/3.

I hope, that I described the asked feature clearly (English is not my native language), because I want to have that all very much - even if I have to make that myself (which I think is too hard for me yet) or PAY FOR IT!
As soon as I will have it, I will SHARE IT with the Drupal community ("here") at least! :)
