Proposed solution

  • Staging VMs move to OpenStack as soon as possible
  • Git staging is configured as close to production as possible, only serving git repositories+git daemon, local varnish, cgit and packaging
  • Staging to become as close as possible to production (stack configuration, caching, php-fpm, etc.) g.d.o #327088
  • May need to build a master image every week for staging, and provision staging/integration VMs based on the master image

This is mostly resolved (staging on openstack), though a new issue may need to be created for fully integrating the gitstaging + stagingwww pieces.
