In the latest simplepie distribution, I can find no simplepie.inc file. Where is it? What does one do with the remainder of the files?

simplepie.inc is in the root of the branch, last file

also in the branch is a note that one-dot-two is no longer being supported

You will need to use an older version of simple pie. This is clearly stated on the module page.
