I just noticed in the Gigya documentation that there is a PHP plugin for Disqus integration with Gigya. Are there any plans to support this with the Gigya module?

Hi,

There are no plans to support Disqus integration out-of the-box in Gigya module,

However, you can add the Disqus integration support by following the instructions in this guide:
