Row option page renders blank page and logs an error ("Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in calendar_plugin_row->options_submit...") [#2176037]

When I try to modify row options for a display, a blank web page is rendered and any changes are not captured and an error is logged in Recent log messages: Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in calendar_plugin_row->options_submit() (line 263 of /usr/share/MYPATH/sites/all/modules/calendar/includes/calendar_plugin_row.inc). Using Calendar 7.x-3.4+1-dev, Date 7.x-2.7 and Views 7.x-3.7+22-dev.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Create a calendar from the calendar view template
2. Click Format section -> Calendar Entities -> Settings
3. Row Style Options opens
4. Click Apply (whether changes are made or not) and a new, blank page loads

Issue remains if JavaScript is disabled in Views advanced settings.
