Great module, (and also great name for a module).

I would like to do a similar thing for Panels. Might have a go at doing a panels_cache_bully module. I always find that Panel panes are left without caching on (especially as each pane needs to have caching turned on individually, rather than turning it on for the whole Panel page).

Has anyone attempted it? Or know of anything similar?

@leon.nk, totally agree with you!
I personally use this snippet to enable pane cache by default: http://dropbucket.org/node/1175
Only works for new panels.

This seems like a great idea, but it is not in the scope of this module. I'd suggest creating a Panels Cache Bully module, as the logic should not significantly overlap.

This patch in tries to do it for panels (panel-panes actually):
https://www.drupal.org/node/2562769

Depends on autocache module though

I fork to 'panels_cache_bully' when Bully with other cache modules has landed.
