Great module, (and also great name for a module).
I would like to do a similar thing for Panels. Might have a go at doing a panels_cache_bully module. I always find that Panel panes are left without caching on (especially as each pane needs to have caching turned on individually, rather than turning it on for the whole Panel page).
Has anyone attempted it? Or know of anything similar?

Only works for new panels.

grasmash CreditAttribution: grasmash commentedThis seems like a great idea, but it is not in the scope of this module. I'd suggest creating a Panels Cache Bully module, as the logic should not significantly overlap.
