I updated to drupal 7.25 after which my flexslider block completely dissappeared. I've checked the view and all seems ok - the images are there in the preview but when I hit save view the block does not appear on the home page. I've trawled through various forums but can't seem to find an answer to this. Anyone experience the same?
Thanks,

kristin.e CreditAttribution: kristin.e commentedI reverted back to an earlier version before I had updated drupal core to 7.25 and the problem still persisted. Then I read the post https://drupal.org/node/2169305 which refers to display suite conflicting with flexslider. I realised that was on of the modules I updated together with the core update. So I decided to revert my display suite version to 7.x-2.6 (I had updated to 8.x-2.0-alpha4) and flexslider block appeared again.
Hope that helps anyone experiencing similar issue.

deanflory CreditAttribution: deanflory commentedkristin.e, just in case you didn't notice, but the two versions of Display Suite you mention in comment #1 are for two different versions of Drupal. 7.x-2.6 is for Drupal 7 and 8.x-2.0-alpha4 is for D8 and I don't think they'd be cross-compatible.

kristin.e CreditAttribution: kristin.e commentedThanks @deanflory - I updated with drush and have always assumed it chooses a version that is compatible with the current drupal installation. I won't be so hasty to just update before looking at the versions under recommended releases :)
