How can I find the menu block ID?

Greetings,

If place a menu block as a panels pane and look at the source code there is no menu ID. Just a classes like panel-pane pane-menu-tree pane-menu-social-connection. But I need the ID to create some process functions.

I was under the impression Menu Block provided separate ideas for menu trees and was therefore very helpful in dealing with Drupal 7's shoddy menu system. How can I find the ID of a menu I placed in a panels pane?
