The Edit button is missing from the detail page and I have no way of editing metadata.
Any ideas on how to get the edit button back?

Screen shot is attached. Note there should be an edit tab between View and Remove.

Can you provide some info about the versions of modules you are running?

Specifically: the versions of Media Gallery (2.x-dev?), Media module and File Entity you are using.
