It would be great to be able to revert to a previous, working revision of a rule if one edits a rule and somehow things work worse than they used to. Right now, you need to remember what you changed and manually revert changes.

Not going to happen for Drupal 7 - too big a change at this point. In Drupal 8, Configuration Management should give you the tools you need to manage reaction rules, since they are configurations.
