Spending time on this issue with no luck so far for D7 version.

Is link plugin with embedded 3rd party video supposed to work ? So far, it doesn't work for me and would like to know
if I should spend more time on this subject ?

I just added a plugin based on video.inc which outputs an HTML5 video tag instead of the emvideo tag.
