This module should not allow the main content block to be ajax loaded. Bad things happen when doing so.

I agree. But this module is for site builders who know what they do.
Can there be a case when ajaxifying main content block is desirable?

I was debugging an issue (#2153217: extra set of aggregates) and decided to ajax All The Blocks™ and found out I had a not very useful site after doing so.

I'm sure someone could come up with a use case for wanting the main content block to load via ajax, but as of right now I don't have a legitimate one.

OK, I'll disable ajaxifying main content block. Hope nobody will see the change.
