From the error log:

PHP Fatal error: Class 'RulesEventHandlerEntityBundle' not found in /home6/lennartm/public_html/basetutor/sites/all/modules/rules/modules/node.rules.inc on line 147

I guess I will stick with version 2.3 since trying to update to the previous version also gave me a fatal error.

Same here... no existing rules exist. Drupal version 7.24 but also had same issue on 7.23.

This is showing up in my php error log:

FYI, this is on a site cached with varnish.
