Hi,
Is there plans to introduce D8 version of this module?
We would like to help you with development of this version or to implement it from scratch.

Kars-T CreditAttribution: Kars-T commentedHi
I am currently not sure if a D8 version is needed. There are some thoughts that the features of the module could be achieved by other means. Maybe it could be a captcha challenge implemented by the use of the Captcha module. Or maybe you could just implement a token that links to a node. I mean the JS popup thingy never really did workout.
Besides that feel welcome to add a D8 version patch.
All the best

john.kli CreditAttribution: john.kli commentedWe have created a patch which provides more functionality for this module.
Currently we are working on these problems:
- Resolve the bug when user click node_id button and then cannot return back to node_title field.
- Using token @link to insert a link to the Terms.
- Multi-Language Support.
- Create tests.
Our @InternetDevels team are keen on further development of this module for Drupal 8. Is there any chance for me to join the project as the co-maintainer?

Kars-T CreditAttribution: Kars-T commentedHi thanks for the patch! :)
I would love to make you co-maintainer or even full maintainer but as I just tested chill35 is still the maintainer of the module so I just can't.
Could you please put an issue in the webmaster queue and ask for the role?
All the best
Karsten

john.kli CreditAttribution: john.kli commentedI want to become a maintainer of module Terms of Use - https://drupal.org/project/terms_of_use. Currently I'm working on a version of this module for Drupal 8 and I want to support it in the future.
