I don't see any option to export to CSV as mentioned in this closed issue: https://drupal.org/node/1245438

From that issue I see there is not supposed to be anything extra to install. I go to admin/settings/node_export and by default I don't see "Format to use when exporting a node". It just has a section called "Node export code delivery" and I've tried the text file download but that is generating node code. If I turn on Node Export XML module, then I can see that option, but there is no CSV option (just node code and XML).

Is there some configuration that I am missing?

There is a submodule for exporting a DSV (Delimiter-separated values). The default output format for DSV in the module is RFC4180 CSV format. Closing this issue.
