I've set up a View and under "Block", the FORMAT Format:Unformatted list | Settings Show:Content | Full content is in Italics but when on "Page" it's normal text and not italics?
Another thing to add to this is that the "Page" displays the content that I assigned but the "Block" is not showing the content...I don't know what I am doing wrong ;)

You've made a new block and it can be customized. So, you could have several blocks and/or pages each with specific view displays of content.
