I am receiving feedback that the registration process is confusing because of the terms "other person" and "other account". Users who are not familiar with Drupal or even familiar with Drupal but not familiar with Registration do not understand these terms. An anonymous user sees the options "other account" and "other person" and is confused and does not know what to do to register themselves. The user does not understand or inherently get that "other person" means "myself" and that they should enter their e-mail address or can register by e-mail address.
My suggestion is to change the title and select list options of the "This registration is for" form element as follows:
- #title: "I am registering"
- #options:
- Myself
- An existing account
- By e-mail address
An anonymous user would then see the option
"An existing account" and "By e-mail address" and understand that they should select "By e-mail address".
A logged in user would see the existing option "Myself" first.

TheBarnacle CreditAttribution: TheBarnacle commentedHi,
DId you ever find a solution to this? My client wants to remove the "other account" option altogether for the same reason. It's not user friendly.

marcmueller CreditAttribution: marcmueller commentedTheBarnacle, you can change the permissions to achieve that. Just set the permission "Register other accounts" for the specific roles. That should do it.

Neograph734levelos can you confirm this is committed? I still see 'other account' and 'other person' in v1.5.
