But still i have a question, which will be better? Drupal 7 or drupal 8?
In the mean time, i have to confess that i have seldom knowledge about both.
Thanks

Why of course Drupal 7 will be better!
Therefore Drupal 8 doesn't really make sense and the reason several hundreds folks continue to labor on it must be because they have nothing better to do..
which will be better?
Thanks a lot oldjet for your valuable opinion.
Why is Drupal 8 worse than
Why is Drupal 8 worse than Drupal 7?

Eventually
I have no doubt that D8 will eventually be better, but if you rely on additional modules, the modules you need may not be ready when it's first released, so D7 might be better for your site until they have been ported and are stable.

This Week in Drupal Core

this site is the best page to see what's going on about drupal 8.

this is where you can find how many beta blockers remain before beta release.
When it's ready...
The impression I get is that D8 is still some way off. I've been looking at module development, and the APIs still aren't finalised.
Additionally, my experience with previous major releases is that it generally takes 6 month to a year for the modules to catch up, so you may be better off sticking with D7 for a while after D8 is released (that may be less true for D8 as more functionality is built into core, so there's less need for modules.

Ok seriously... When is
Ok seriously... When will drupal 8 release? End of Summer? Fall? 2015?
Anybody got any feelings on this?
As the last poster said, it
As the last poster said, it will be released when it's ready for release. No one knows when that will be, it's all speculation. It could be as early as the end of this year, or as late as next summer.
Drupal 8 beta1 will be
Drupal 8 beta1 will be release when this will have 0 issue:

Drupal 8.0 will be release when this will have 0 issue for two week in a row:

Probably in a few years. That
Probably in a few years. That 50 something bugs in the beta don't seem to be able to decrease.
Barcelona
One hint you can take is the Driesnote at DrupalCon Los Angeles "we have a strech goal of releasing for DrupalCon Barcelona".
Then, ponder how much that is stretchable.... but I don't think there was even such an explicit date given before.
Here's the release date estimator
https://drupalreleasedate.com/ will show you an estimated release date based on analysis of the velocity of new and closed issues. Right now, it's predicting 27 August. My personal gut feeling is that neither August nor Barcelona will happen unless the folks who are receiving accelerator funds are able to make some good headway, which is probably dependent on how well the existing release blockers are understood. There was a huge burst of activity coming out of the sprints at DrupalCon LA. My guess is that the same will happen at/after Barcelona and we'll get a first RC in October.
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot
