I'm a bit confused about exactly what the "Backwards navigation" option does.
As far as I can tell, when this option not is selected, the "Back" button the the form is not displayed.
For my application, only anonymous users are allowed to take quizzes, but they can easily bypass #2 above by simply clicking the back button on their browser. Is the "Backwards navigation" functionality supposed to suppress this when it is not selected?
Thanks,
-mike

When it is disabled and still attendees are able to use browser's back button and change the already submitted answers it should be considered as bug.
Could you please confirm this behaviour to check further?

ultimikeYep - it may be a bug then, because users can hit the browser's back button to re-answer a previous question - **but not the immediate previous one**. An example:
Assume a quiz has 4 questions.
I'm using Quiz 7.x-4.0-beta2 and the Chrome browser.

Sivaji_Ganesh_Jojodae CreditAttribution: Sivaji_Ganesh_Jojodae commentedI confirm that I could reproduce the issue. I remember this was discussed already in quiz issue queue but I couldn't locate that now. Historically this is the way quiz module has behaved. I'm not sure if there is any concrete fix for this issue for now. The best of solutions I could find are http://stackoverflow.com/a/18213393/623160 and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2008806/how-to-detect-if-the-user-cli.... But this requires jQuery 1.7 and HTML5. I will consider investing more time on this when it is needed for more users.

djdevinThis issue is being closed because it was filed against a Beta version of Quiz 4 that is no longer supported.
Quiz 4 is now in RC status.
If the issue still persists in the latest RC of Quiz 4, please open a new issue.
