Can you explain what this module does, and why you would want to use it? You should consider uploading it as a sandbox project so other people can download and use it more easily.

I think it is a trend to change product to a field. some people think it is easy to use if it is a field.
Is there any plan to change product to a field in the future version ?

This will likely be done to some extent in 8.x-4.x, but not in 7.x-3.x.
