Unresponsive changes to mappings

A few days back, I successfully setup a Feed-Import which imported remote XML node information and recreated them on a website. It worked just fine.

As I left the project some days back I was struggling with importing taxonomy terms. I left it till I returned to the project.

Today after many attempts, I realised that the new mappings I created were not being recognised. This is the case with my taxonomy terms mappings.
I am also using the Feeds XPath Parser7.x-1.0-beta4 module and I had configured the necessary fields.

Eventually, I deleted all the mappings except NID. The import recognised this change and only created nodes will the NID recieved.

I then re-introduced the TITLE and BODY mappings but the import does not import the related data.

The XML is fine and has been unaltered for days. I have been flushing all caches throughout the entire process but it has not helped.

Can anyone give me an insight into how this can be fixed?
