In the Panel Content Layout files Singularity is used for the grid, and for the Omega layouts Susy is used. Is there a reason for this?

Not really. It doesn't really matter which grid framework you use. As long as you use one. Both are magnificent. Furthermore, we want to show-case both grid frameworks as we find that they are both awesome. It's a matter of preference only really. Personally I prefer singularity for example...

Ok. I see that, but when i now wanted to use both the "Simpel" layout, and the Panel content layout i had to go trough and convert one of them. Seems like an lot of extra work for the users of the theme. Think it would be better for the users if Omega had chosen one framework to support and created all the layouts that is shipped with omega with that framwork. But i see your point tough :)
