I'm creating a custom theme including use profile. I've been able to print/render most user fields. But I'm not sure how to print user's name and these stdclass objects in the template-
tpl.php files are used to write HTML code and PHP code is written only to print dynamic values passed through variables. These PHP variables can be defined in template.php in various preprocess functions, like for variables in html.tpl.php you can define variables in THEME_preprocess_html(). You need to define the variables in your template.php to be available in your tpl file for printing, more details here. Those variable can be either string or an array, to print array you can use render() function.
You can find more details on theme in Drupal on https://drupal.org/documentation/theme.
